Tip 1 – Avoid any food which contains refined sugar as this in fact works against the body and helps it store rather than eliminate fat from the body. Just by gutting out refined sugar from your diet can easily be a way to lose pounds in a matter of weeks without having to do anything else.

Tip 2 – Although you may enjoy your burgers and kebabs if you can avoid all those processed foods you enjoy. Not only do they have large levels of refined sugar and flour in them they also have lots of fat in them as well. These foods contain lots of calories and little or no nutrients which makes your body function much slower and so you retain fat rather than losing it. Instead try and eat more natural whole foods that are as fresh as possible.

Tip 3 – A really good way to help lose pounds more quickly is to increase your intake of foods high in fiber such as vegetables which are steamed, raw fruits, beans, legumes and some types of nuts and seeds. They actually help to suppress hunger and food cravings so the chances of you wanting to snack are greatly reduced.

Tip 4 – Although you may enjoy a glass of coca cola or any other type of soda it is far better if you eliminate these from your diet altogether, but if you can’t go for those that are the diet or low sugar versions. Also reduce the amount of coffee and alcohol you consume as these contain high levels of ingredients that work with your body to store fat rather than eliminate it.

Tip 5 – It is crucial that you do exercise each week but it doesn’t have to be anything too strenuous. You can easily just spend say between 20 and 25 minutes 4 to 6 times each week carrying out some kind of cardio exercise (swimming, walking or running). Plus a short amount of time doing some higher intensity exercises which can help to boost your metabolism and so you burn off more fat in less time.
